Arabic as a First Language (0508)

Cambridge IGCSE Arabic – First Language is for learners whose first language is Arabic.

The syllabus develops learners':

  • ability to communicate clearly, accurately and effectively 
  • ability to use a wide-ranging vocabulary and correct spelling, punctuation and grammar 
  • personal style and awareness of the audience being addressed
  • appreciation of how writers achieve their effects and encourages them to read widely for their own enjoyment.
