Treasure House Handwriting Workbook 3

Treasure House Handwriting is a whole-school programme designed to support children in developing a clear and fluent style of writing. Using precursive and cursive handwriting styles, the programme progresses from introducing the movements and patterns needed to form letters, through to the development of a personal style.

• This workbook reinforces the handwriting style already learned, through sentences, spelling patterns and simple tongue-twisters and rhymes. During this book, children are encouraged to attempt writing with their eyes closed to help fix the pattern of movements in the mind.
• Throughout this workbook, children are introduced to the idea of collating a handwriting folder, and also contains exemplar material to be retained by children in their handwriting folder.
