Cambridge Eleven is a growing series of original literature for 13 to 17 year-old readers.
Titles are only published in the language they were originally written in.
Cambridge Eleven accordingly refers to the eleven official languages of South Africa, and not the number of titles in the series. All titles in the series contain features such as a contents page, a synopsis of the book, a short biography of the author, a detailed glossary and relevant revision questions with model answers.
The series stems from the Cambridge Literacy Project, which aims to build up both the quantity as well as the quality of literature available for young people in South Africa across all genres.
